Packing a KCIC Ornament for Refurbishing or Upgrade

• E-mail us for a Return Merchandise Authorization number or call 1.888.539.2884 

• print out the Refurbishing Request Form 

• fill it out completely.

• remember to write your RMA number on the form. 

Remove the original painted Indestructo storage box from the tissue and white or ivory embossed gift box that came with your ornament. Be careful handling the painted box. The paint on it may leave a shiny non-toxic residue on your hands. To avoid this, use plastic gloves or place a paper towel over the box before picking it up. Wash your hands afterwards.

Remove the ornament, gift box and colored shred from inside the storage box and put it in a safe place. Keep your ornament in the small gift box, secure it inside with the packing peanuts and return it to the now-empty storage box. Stuff crumpled newspaper around the small gift box keep it from rattling while in transit.

• Enclose the completed Refurbishing Request form

• wrap the storage box in 40 lb brown/white mailing paper, seal it with heavy duty tape OR,

• place it inside of a larger mailing box seal it with heavy duty tape and send the ornament to:

The porcelain ornament packed with newspaper in an Indestructo box weighs approx. 8-15 oz. The glass ornament packed the same way weighs approx. 2-6 oz. 

For your own protection, return the ornament using a method that allow you to track it. For example: Priority Mail-USPS, UPS, FedEx, certified US mail, USPS with tracking or signature required. If you have any questions please call 1.888.539.2884 .
